Barbara has been involved in providing advice to a wide range of clients on all aspects of the Resource Management Act and related law including, plan changes and policy advice for developers and applicants, as well as enforcement and prosecutions for local authorities.
Barbara has obtained resource consents in respect of subdivision, land use and other developments and more recently has been involved in a number of energy generation projects such as Mighty River Power's Turitea Wind Farm Application (acting for the local Council in the role of a submitter), the appeal of Meridian's Central Wind Project; and Contact Energy's appealed Waitahora Wind Farm proposal.
Barbara's experience also encompasses commercial contracts, Franchise Agreements, Fair Trading and Consumer Guarantees Law, M&A Competition law clearance applications and general property and commercial transactions.
