Partner
John was made a partner in 1989. His practice and considerable experience is exclusively in Civil and Environment Litigation; handling disputes between individuals, companies and local authorities. John successfully conducted an appeal in the Privy Council on a case involving restitution.
Prior to joining Cooper Rapley, John worked for Simpson Grierson in Auckland.
John enjoys an eclectic mix of charity work and is chair of the local Restorative Justice Board. He loves anything Italian.
