Lester has been at Cooper Rapley since 1992 and was made a partner in 2000. He has considerable expertise in a wide range of law but also emphasises the importance of utilising the considerable pool of knowledge available from Cooper Rapley's entire legal team.

Originally from a Manawatu dairy farming background, Lester enjoys strong ties with his local community. He is a trustee for the Highland Home Christian Camp and leads a local boys youth club. He is an honorary solicitor for a number of local non-profit organisations and was previously a Manawatu District Law Society council member.
