Shannon is a partner in the firm’s litigation team with a focus on environment, local government, and public law. Her practice extends to infrastructure projects, including construction and property disputes. Having spent time as a Crown Prosecutor, Shannon also has a good breadth of experience with environmental and regulatory compliance.
Shannon was a lawyer at large firms in Wellington and Melbourne, before moving to Palmerston North and joining the Crown as a prosecutor/litigator. Back in private practice for some time, Shannon regularly appears in the Environment Court and High Court, and has conducted many environment court mediations, as well as arbitrations/mediations involving land, environment and building disputes.
Shannon is also an accredited hearings commissioner under the RMA.
